This is a charcoal sketch. They are both the same drawing but both have different colors. The sketch was too big for the scanner so I just focused on the core image of the drawing.

Drawing for a Friend.

This is a drawing a friend of mine ask me to do. He was the front man for Alice in Chains. I did this from a photo of him. It's not as real looking as I wanted but I like to slight dis-connect.

This is the final drawing. I think it looks MUCH better than the first one.

This my version
 of a photo I saw online. I changed it a bit to make my own. I really like the mood of this one but as always I still need to work on my detail.

Second Effort... still not right but a little better I think.

Yet another sketch of a photo I found online. It's not too bad.. still need to work on my details more.

Same drawing but updated with some touch up and changes. I just can't get the look right.

3rd touch up and still not right. I may give this a 4th try but not sure if it's even worth the effort.

Hiding the Pain.

This is a quick sketch I did using a photo i found on line. This is just a practice drawing. It is a bit off but it does convey the mood of the photo pretty close I think.
